Headlights - Cherry Tulips

The really arduous conversations I partook in last night were pretty aggravating. "Where do you go to school, who do you listen to, what shows have you been to lately?"

It's all the same boring conversations with blogsters wanting to know if I listen to so and so latest trendy buzz band or how good the music and arts program is or how last year their roommate tripped face at the animal collective show or how they were first in line to get tickets to the tribe called quest reunion at jones beach. Don't get me wrong, I've been that guy in the past, but it's something that just gets so boring and typical that I just want to stop them mid sentence and say "dude, I dont care."

I honestly would rather be talking about the intricate differences between the super nintendo and sega genesis versions of Street Fighter 2 or how much better the chicken tenders in highschool were compared to the chicken patties, or other geeky things.

What did make the night worth it was our adventure on the way back home from downtown. Where you took the subway for the first time in years and shared ipod headphones, and how our bus got pulled over just as we pulled out of the Lincoln tunnel, and how we walked the 8 blocks to my apartment on the dead silent north jersey streets.

BONUS!:

This is basically stars without Amy, but they're still really good, and the songs that don't sound "stars-ish" are awesome.
